Eitrigg as seen in the World of Warcraft: TCG |
"I came across Eitrigg a while back in Wotlk. I was running the last Death Knight specific quest. The quest consisted of you passing a message from Tirion Fordring to Thrall (horde only relevancy) asking for a pardon of the Knights of the Ebon Blade. After reading the message I noticed Tirion mention Eitrigg towards the end of the letter. After that I took no real intrest in the matter, until we reached cataclysm. I ran into the new throne room to see Garrosh, but as I walked through the entrance I turned to my right to look for the blood elf paladin trainer and low and behold I saw Eitrigg standing there. After that I researched into more detail of the lore between Fordring and Eitrigg and well this is the information I gathered..."

Kil'jeaden the deceiver |
Eitrigg is an ageing yet noble orc warrior from the first and second war. He was decorated and honoured as a great warrior of battle, he even lost 2 sons in battle. After the most recent war had calmed, Eitrigg uncovered not only the dark secrets of
Gul'dan the first warlock and founder of the horde but also the powerful
erader demon lord
Kil'jaeden. Disgusted with their atrocities Eitrigg left his horde society and fled to the wilderness of lordearon.

Paladin High Lord Tirion Fordring |
Years later
Tirion fordring ,a noble exiled paladin Of lordearon. while roaming the land Tirion stumbled across an abandoned watch tower laying in ruin. Eitrigg appeared from the shadow of the ruin and challenged Tirion to a duel to the death, as both heroes did not know of each other and therefore where a threat to one another. Their battle raged on amongst the ruin neither opponent backing down until the watch tower began to crumble. Beneath lay the unconscious Tirion trapped by the fallen stone, Eitrigg towered over him in victory. Although, Eitrigg knew that there was no honour in killing another warrior with whom was defenceless. Instead Eitrigg pulled Tirion from the rubble and healed him. Tirion woke up days later in his bed. He realised that the Orc with whom he attacked had nursed him and sent him tied to his saddle back to lordearon. At this point It dawned on Tirion that the orcish race might too be bound by honour, just as the alliance is.

Thrall, Warcheif of the Horde |
Tirion returned to the watch tower to seek out Eitrigg. Unfortunately a group soldiers that belonged to the
Alliance of Lordaeron ambushed the two heroes.
Eitrigg was captured and brought back to Lordearon along with Tirion to stand before trial. A ceromony was preformed for Tirion to strip him of his title and honour for helping an Orc.
Eitrigg was bound and caged until he was rescued by the newly appointed Warchief of the Horde,
Thrall. Eitrigg Vowed to Tirion that they were "brothers bound by blood and honour". Thrall and the other key members of the Horde regarded Tirion with the highest respect and honor to this very day.
